• Today started with an early SWEAT1000 class, a creamy flat white and a green smoothie bowl. In my view, the PERFECT morning!

    I found myself wanting some grounding this morning, which lead me to my obvious choice of a green Wazoogles smoothie bowl and some added Headspace meditation afterwards. With so much going on towards the end of the year, I find this is the most important time of the year to slow yourself down.

    So what is Headspace? Well to keep it short and sweet, its an app that walks you through the principles of mediation in 10 free sessions.
    A while back I wasn’t in a great headspace due to the people I surrounded myself with, so I made the personal choice to see a life coach and one of the three things he left me with was downloading the Headspace app. Its simple, well illustrated and can be practiced in the comfort of your own home.

    • 2 frozen bananas
    • hand full of frozen strawberries
    • 2 scoops Wazoogles Plant Power
    • 1/4 cup pomegranates
    • 1 cup Almond Breeze milk
    • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
    • 1 diced kiwi
    Step 1 :
    Place all ingredients in a blender, and whiz that shiz up!
    Step 2:
    Pour mixture into your favorite smoothie bowl and top with season fruit.

  • Quick blog post before I spend the day on a train ride to Kalk Bay with friends, because this green smoothie bowl is delish and will keep me full until lunch time!

    Recently I have been making all my smoothies, overnight oats and smoothie bowls with Wazoogles super food protien powder. This green superfood smoothie bowl is creamy and rich in nutrients, topped with some seasonal fruit and a cut up Nakd apple super food bar.

    • 1 Cup diced, frozen pear (fresh, diced and frozen overnight)
    • Handful of blueberries
    • ¼ Cup gluten free oats (normal oats is perfectly fine as well)
    • 1 Frozen banana
    • ½ Serving of Wazoogle Plant Power green super food protien powder
    • ½ Cup Almond Breeze almond milk
    • ½ Cup water


    1. Combine ingredients in blender and blend until smooth (using a high power blender will give you the best results, as a normal one with a lower speed will give the smoothie a slushy like consistency)
    2. Serve and enjoy!
