Mornings can be hectic and chaotic, and for many of us its a struggle to fit in a well balanced breakfast. Whether you are a personal trainer like myself where your mornings start before sunrise or you spend a large portion of your mornings making sure your kids are filled with nutrition for the day. Its easy to find yourself grabbing a double cap and waiting till later that afternoon to nourish yourself.

I’m sure you have all heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I’d say that they ALL are (basically because I love food a little too much), but it’s true, breakfast is essential. Eating breakfast increases your metabolic rate, regulates blood sugar, fuels your mind and body for the day ahead and promotes productivity. Skipping breakfast will likely encourage you to eat more later in the day and will promote mid-morning hunger.

This breakfast is quick, delicious and healthy, and by using my favorite Cookies & Cream protein powder from Cipla, I have successfully transformed my everyday breakfast into a desert!



In the evening :
  1. Place oats, almond milk, yogurt and protein powder in small jar. Stir well to combine.
  2. Close the lid and place in the refrigerator overnight.
In the morning :
  1. Top with fresh figs and chopped pecans and serve.
